Panda/Eagle Baby Quilt 1



 For Today I began the Panda/Eagle Quilt.  Today I have begun with the bamboo background behind the panda.


Using a window for a light box, Normally I would lay my fabric over the pattern An day trace in pencil.  Because of the business of the fabric pattern, I used a green fine tip marker to trace pattern onto the fabric.  The tracing is subtle but gives an idea of where and what design should look like.



For this design I chose to paint the bamboo background. I think it turned out wonderfully..  I used the paint brunch handle tip to add the vines to the leaves.
