Learning new techniques

 as part of the Altenew design team there is a series of videos to help with skills.  I was feeling slightly overwhelmed because everything has to do with card making.  I have made cards before and sometimes I find it relaxing to make a card for a scrapbook layout.  There are 18 classes with 4-6 lessons a piece.  That is a lot of cards!.  Erum is excited I am scrapbooked and is the one who invited to be part of the team and can’t to see what do with these ideas in scrapbooking

As I have begun to prep some ideas have come together.  I don’t own a scrapbooking die cut machine.  I do own a quilting one though and a scan n cut.  The definition of a modern quilter is one who uses what is available to make a quilt.  I am about to become a modern scrapbooked - use what I have to get same results.  There will be some experiments along the way.  Some may work some may not.  My quilting, embroidery and scrapbooking skills are about to create something, hopefully amazing & inspirational.

I made the ALtENEW design team

 With a small amout of trepidation I applies to be part of a scrapbooking design team.  I will be on the new team! I Am a a littel nervous because I have never done anything like this.  The next step will be getting comfortable with videoing my scapbooking process.  THe next couple of week will be filled with scrapbooking technique videos to help improve my style.  Now I have something to fill the long winter months with.

I Will be busy scrapbooking, quilting, and running a business.  From now through June will be quite busy.
